Vivek Agnihotri Postpones ‘The Vaccine War’ Till Dussehra 2023

Vivek Agnihotri is known for his best films. Last year, the director’s film The Kashmir Files was released. This film got a lot of love from the audience. The Kashmir Files was a huge hit at the box office. Vivek Agnihotri’s film showed the pain of displacement of Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s. After the success of this film, Vived Agnihotri announced the film titled The Vaccine War. He had announced the release of the film on August 15, 2023, but now news is coming that he has extended the release date of the film.

Vivek Agnihotri is extensively shooting for the film The Vaccine War. The news is coming that the work of The Vaccine War is almost completed. There is also news that Vivek Agnihotri is giving final touches to a project in America. The filmmaker and his wife Pallavi Joshi plan to host a pre-release screening of ‘The Vaccine War’ in the USA before the film releases theatrically in India.

The strategy under which he worked with The Kashmir Files. Due to this, the release of ‘The Vaccine War‘ in India has been postponed till Dussehra 2023. Talking about the project, Vivek Agnihotri said, “When The Kashmir Files was shelved during the COVID-19 lockdown, I started researching on it. We also started research with scientists from ICMR and NIV, which made our own vaccine possible.

Vivek Agnihotri said, ‘The story of their struggle and sacrifice was tremendous and we understood how these scientists fought the war waged against India not only by foreign agencies but also by our own people. Nevertheless, we won a victory against the virus by creating the fastest, cheapest and safest vaccine. I thought this story should be told so that every Indian can feel proud of their country. This will be India’s first pure science film about bio-warfare which we had no idea about.
