Varun Dhawan and Atlee‘s film has been making headlines for the past several days. Sometime back it was reported that the actor will be seen in a Tamil director’s film. Although Varun did not reveal much details on this, he simply said that he is ready to start ‘VD 18’ soon. It is now reported that the actor is going to start shooting for this film from today (August 9).
The film is set to release on May 31 next year. ‘Jawan‘ director Atlee is all set to produce the film along with Murad Khetani . According to the report, film VD 18 will come on the floor from today i.e. Wednesday. Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi are going to be seen in the film.
The report further states that the actor will be shooting the promos of the film in Mumbai. Also, some important scenes of the film will also be shot. As per reports, the preparations for the film are in full swing and the makers will soon announce VD 18 with the promo of this action and drama-packed film.
Sources say that Varun will be seen in a completely new avatar in this film. It is believed that this will be a big action entertainer film. Kalees is going to direct the film. Whereas, Atlee is only producing it. Currently, Atlee is gearing up for the release of his film Jawan on 7th September. After Pathaan, people are eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan starrer film. Fans are expecting this film to do bigger business than King Khan’s previous release.
On the work front, Varun was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari‘s ‘Bawaal‘. The film was released directly on OTT. Janhvi Kapoor was also seen with him in this. Both the actors were highly appreciated for their roles.
