For the past few days, her debut web series The Trial – Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha has been making headlines. Now the trailer of the series has been released today, which has a completely different and powerful story.
‘The Trial’ Pyaar Kanoon Dhoka is a courtroom drama web series. In the series, the actress plays a strong liar Nayonika Sengupta. The series also stars Kajol alongside actor Jisshu Sengupta , who plays her husband and additional judge Rajeev Sengupta.
The two-minute trailer of The Trial is full of twists and turns. The beginning of the series begins with a sensational case. Kajol plays a housewife in the series who once again has to be a part of the courtroom as her husband is accused of taking favors of a physical relationship as a bribe to decide a case.
As soon as this act of the Additional Judge comes to the fore in the media, he is jailed and all his property is confiscated. After this Nayonika has to start advocating for her children and herself once again. Nayonika’s life slowly returns to normal, but in the meantime, her firm assigns her a case to fight, which takes her back down the dark alleys of her past.
Talking about the release of The Trial, Disney Plus Hotstar has taken the responsibility of streaming it. The series will be streamed on 14 July on the OTT platform. Along with this, the actress will also debut in the OTT space.
