The pair of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will again rock the screen

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have once again come into the limelight. In fact, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s on-screen chemistry in films like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania‘ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania‘ was much loved and appreciated. It’s been six years since the film released and till date fans talk about the film and its story.

The first two films, directed by Shashank Khaitan, were successful at the box office. Talking about a possible sequel, Varun said, “I think it is something that all of us as a team have discussed a lot. We definitely want to do this. At the same time, we want to get something that’s great that you’re all really excited to see, so it’s a work in progress.”

Varun Dhawan further added, “Shashank is working on it. He is trying to prepare a script which will be good enough for me and his comeback. It is a work in progress and we would love to work with each other again. We have talked about it.

Talking about the upcoming films of the actor, Varun Dhawan was recently seen in ‘Bawaal‘ opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The film was released digitally and received mixed reviews from fans and critics. Alia, on the other hand, is currently enjoying the success of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘. In this film she appeared opposite Ranveer Singh. The film has earned more than Rs 50 crore at the box office within four days of its release.

In 2012, Varun and Alia made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar‘s ‘Student of the Year‘ and made a mark in their industry. Varun and Alia came together for ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania‘, which released in 2014. Then, in 2017 he acted in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania‘. They again shared screen space together for the 2019 film ‘Kalank‘.
