A big update has come out regarding Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer most awaited film ‘Bawaal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Fans will not be able to watch this film reportedly based on the World War on the big screen. The bad news for the fans who are looking forward to watching the movie in theaters is that the film is going to knock directly on the OTT platform.
As per reports, the film does not fall in the category of a purely commercial masala entertainer. Keeping this in mind, director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and starcast Janhvi Kapoor-Varun Dhawan have decided to release it on OTT with mutual consent. If reports are to be believed, the movie will stream on the OTT platform Prime Video in the month of October, which can be officially announced soon.
The film ‘Bawaal‘ has been in the limelight since its announcement. Last year, Janhvi had shared some BTS pictures from the sets and informed about their wrap-up. Also, the actress wrote in her note, ‘From chasing Nitesh sir and Sajid sir to ensure that I get this film, to praying obsessively that it happens, to pinching myself everyday. For that I am actually shooting for it, finally here is the wrapup. I still can’t believe it.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen romancing for the first time through the film ‘Bawaal’. Fans are quite excited to watch this fresh pairing. Talking about Bawaal, it was earlier scheduled to release on April 7, 2023. However, later the filmmakers extended it to October 6. At the same time, now the news of its OTT release has brought it back into the limelight.
