Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who gave blockbuster films like ‘The Kerala Story‘, is now in discussion about his new action series, which is named ‘Commando’. Finally the trailer of the action packed series has been launched. OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar has released a powerful trailer of ‘Commando‘. Though three films of ‘Commando‘ have Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role, this time the show produced and directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah will see debutant Prem Parrijaa play the lead.

Trailer is full of action

The trailer begins with Pakistan aiming to target India with a deadly weapon but Vaibhav Tatwawadi who plays the Indian spy ‘Kshitij‘ in the series foils Pakistan’s plans. However, while succeeding in getting the lab shut down, Kshitij is arrested and imprisoned in Sahiwal Jail, the most secure prison in Pakistan. Following this, Prem as Commando Virat and Adah Sharma as Bhavana Reddy embark on a dangerous mission to secure their comrade Kshitij from enemy territory.

Prem-Adah Sharma’s action avatar

The powerful action avatar of Prem and Adah Sharma is being seen in the trailer. Apart from Adah Sharma and Prem, the Commando series also stars Tigmanshu Dhulia, Amit Sial, Shreya Choudhary, Ishtiyak Khan and Mukesh Chhabra in lead roles. This series will be released on August 11 on Disney Plus Hotstar.

‘Commando’ franchise

The ‘Commando‘ franchise has had three films so far, which were produced by Vipul Shah. The Commando franchise began in 2013 with ‘Commando: A One Man Army’, starring Vidyut and Pooja Chopra in the lead roles. 2017’s sequel ‘Commando 2: The Black Money Trail‘, in which Adah Sharma replaced Pooja as the lead actress, and ‘Commando 3‘ in 2019, with Vidyut and Adah playing the lead roles. Now Prem and Adah will be seen in the web series ‘Commando‘. The story of the ‘Commando‘ franchise will be taken forward in this series. Prem Parrijaa is making his acting debut through this series.
