Discover how Ananya Pandey is redefining style and setting a new trend with CALL ME BAE. Learn why her latest look is captivating the online world

Siddhant Chaturvedi is all smiles for his “Gehraiyaan” co-star Ananya Panday’s new series, “Call Me Bae”. The trailer nods to a viral moment from a few years back, where Siddhant’s comments about the challenges faced by outsiders in the industry made waves.

The show, directed by Collin D’Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra, is all about Bae, a billionaire fashionista who has to navigate life after being disowned by her family. It’s produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and will stream on Prime Video.

After the trailer aired on Tuesday, Siddhant took to Instagram to give a shoutout to Ananya. “@ananyapanday in your element and how! @collindcunha best wishes to the whole team! Looks super fun! PS: love the last part @primevideoin @dharmamovies @karanjohar,” he posted.

The trailer ends with a cheeky reference to a 2020 interview where Ananya, daughter of actor Chunky Panday, mentioned that being on “Koffee with Karan” was a sign of success. Siddhant had replied with a line that went viral: “The difference is jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai.”

When asked about this throwback in the series, Ananya said, “It’s something we’ve kind of owned up to. It’s been five years, and honestly, I’m past it. I’m just focusing on my work and hoping people like it. There’s no struggle, I’m doing just fine.”

After working together in “Gehraiyaan,” Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi have teamed up again in a way, with “Call Me Bae” set to premiere on Prime Video on September 6.
